Mana Spa gets top industry rating and nominated for ‘spa of year’ all in the space of one week

CV Life’s Mana Spa has received a five ‘bubble’ rating from one of the beauty industry’s leading reviewers.

Good Spa Guide sends covert ‘spa spies’ to assess a venue’s cleanliness and tidiness, customer service, standard of facilities and treatments. The spa is then given a ‘bubble rating’ depending on the review.

This month Mana Spa was awarded five bubbles, which translates to ‘Fantastic’.

But in terms of boosts for the spa’s reputation, it doesn’t end there. Venue manager Rachel Brooks recently shared news Mana has also been nominated for ‘Spa of the Year’ in the English Spa and Beauty Awards, firmly securing their spot among the best spas in the country according to customers.

We caught up with Rachel to find out more about a brilliant few weeks for Mana.

She said: “The Good Spa Guide is a platform known nationally throughout the industry. To be awarded five bubbles and listed within the guide ensures customers that by booking with us they will be given the whole package; an uninterrupted spa journey, tip top treatments, first rate facilities and fabulous customer service.”

A previous review saw Mana attain a still-respectable four bubbles, so what does Rachel think explains the improvement

“Mana Spa was awarded four bubbles in 2019, 3 months after we first opened,” Rachel explained.

“Since this, we have strived to make continuous improvements within the spa taking on feedback from customers and updating our services to ensure we are offering high standards of treatments and experiences, whilst also maintaining the high standards and customer service that we originally opened with.”

Explaining what sets her spa aside, Rachel continued: “Mana Spa is an urban day spa hidden within the busy location of the city centre. Whilst you can enjoy the hustle and bustle of the city centre, once you enter Mana Spa you feel as though you are miles away from reality.

“Mana Spa caters to those short of time and looking to fit into their diary whilst also catering to those wanting to lap up the luxury. In addition, after undergoing specific training, we are also now able to treat those undergoing and recovering from cancer.” (Read more here.)

Rachel is keen to get across how the hard work put in by her staff has played a huge part in securing the five bubbles.

She said: “The staff have played a huge part in achieving this rating. Our staff always ensure a warm welcome at Mana Spa and are always attentive to all customers’ needs ensuring that they will always have a good experience with us.

“They have maintained cleaning standards throughout the spa, and are always eager to develop their skills, ensuring they are always providing high standards of treatments to our clients.

“The team at Mana Spa should be very proud of themselves for achieving this rating.”

Urging potential members or customers to give it a try, Rachel added: “At Mana Spa it is all about you as an individual. Health and Wellbeing is so important to us and we want to help you achieve your goals by providing you with affordable facilities and services.

“You will receive the full relaxation experience at Mana Spa and our staff will care to your individual needs to ensure that you leave feeling refreshed and invigorated.”

Referring to the Hair & Beauty Awards, Rachel added: “I want to say a big thanks to the public who have nominated us. Voting is still open so if you could help us be in with a chance of winning by sparing two minutes of your time, I would be so grateful.”

Well done to Rachel and everyone else at Mana for all your dedicated hard work in getting this rating and securing the nomination. If you want to vote, click here. It’s really straightforward.
